Michelle qualifies to teach beauty

Elajé’s beauty manager and senior beauty therapist Michelle Richardson has qualified in a major teaching qualification, an important step towards her goal to open a beauty academy.

Michelle is now qualified to train apprentices from the local college to achieve the high standards required by Elajé whilst they complete their NVQ training.

Michelle gained the PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) award following an intensive 12 week course where she studied a variety of planning, motivating and teaching methods. She is now undertaking an Assessors qualification.

“This enables me to grow the beauty department with trainees undergoing very thorough training and working their way up through the ranks. Beauty therapists should be working to very high standards and at Elajé we strive to provide services that are impeccable,” said Michelle.

Michelle is planning to operate a beauty academy with Elajé that will recruit college leavers and provide first-class, on-going training.
