Elajé is finalist for English Hair & Beauty Awards

Elajé Hair & Beauty is a finalist for the Hair Salon of the Year for East England award in the English Hair & Beauty Awards 2014.

Thousands of nominations via a public vote flooded in for the third annual English Hair and Beauty Awards. The prestigious event will be taking place on the 30th March at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel.

The glitzy event is held to show appreciation and raise awareness of the expertise and professionalism of the hair and beauty industry; from salons to the talented individuals who work within them. The event promises to be as glamorous as the nominated individuals and salons.

“I am delighted that Elajé has been shortlisted for this award. We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional service for our clients and it is fantastic to be recognised in this way,” said owner Julia Gaudio.

Rachel Brown of event organiser, Creative Oceanic said: “The competition is heated this year as we have finalists from all over England. We would like to wish all the finalists the best of luck and we look forward to delivering yet another great event.”

Monday treats at Elajé

Elajé Hair & Beauty clients and their friends were treated to an afternoon of pampering treatments and expert advice at the Cambridge salon’s Client Treat Day on Monday 3rd March.

Elajé clients were invited along to the salon where lessons on achieving a salon-perfect blow dry were given as well as free facial lessons. Clients brought their friends along to introduce them to the salon and to receive a free cut and blow dry or choose from a range of facials.

The event attracted 60 people, who relaxed with coffee and cake in the afternoon and canapés and Champagne in the evening while the expert team of hairdressers and beauty therapists worked their magic and revealed some of their professional secrets.

“It was great to give something back to our regular clients and this was a perfect opportunity to take time out to teach them some of our professional techniques. Inviting their friends for a free treatment allowed our clients to give a gift to their friends and enjoy the event together,” said owner Julia Gaudio.
